I have to say this past weekend was one of the best weekends in a while, especially since it was a 3 day weekend for Mike and he got off work a little early Friday! I think we really treasured this past weekend too since we know baby is so close to being here and the first few months are going to be a whirlwind and adjustment when he comes. All worth it, but definitely won’t just be jumping in the car solo to go to a dinner downtown or going to the movies anytime soon
Marvelous weekend it was, so allow me to share my marvelous highlights!
Friday kicked off with going to see a movie we have been wanting to see since it came out…
and a kid sized popcorn to share 
Iron Man 3 rocked! I am so happy we got to see it and it was so fun to have a early movie date night. This weekend Anthony was with his pap all weekend so it was nice for us to just have “us” time too!
Saturday we celebrated our 5 year dating anniversary which was on the 22nd, we exchanged cards and headed out to eat!
Cards are the best, we each got each other two, funny and romantic one!
We had to do the self timer on the camera since we had nobody around to take a pic before we headed off to dinner, kind of worked
Dinner was at Casbah, a new place that we never tried and have only heard amazing things about, well it was for sure!

Cheers to 5 years! The waiter was so nice to bring me a fruity mocktail while Mike enjoyed sangria!
We started with a scallop appetizer, they split up the appetizer so we each had our own plate. Mmmmmmmm I wish I had 1,000 more of those scallops, was SO good!
Can’t forget the bread, was warm and fresh!
I got a salad as well to start, anything with goat cheese is a win for me 
Mike got a tuna tartare off the appetizer menu but I couldn’t share with him, looked so good!
And then the main courses which were both to die for YUM!
Mike ordered the lamb and ate every last morsel, he said it was amazing 
I ordered the halibut, melted in my mouth, no words just sooooo good!
Mike also ordered another drink
He said it was for me and Baby G, haha!
And the waiter brought us the sweetest little dessert since we were too full to order dessert off the menu, so sweet!
Was a wonderful anniversary dinner, we will be going back to Casbah for sure! The food and service was amazing!
Sunday….
Well since the weather is nice again, we kicked off our warm weather tradition, mini golf! We were missing Anthony, but we still had fun!
Mike beat me 
I will get him next time though, hehe. We had fun and it was nice to mini golf again after so long, yay for warmer weather!
We were starving since it was close to dinner time and since it was just Mike and I , we got something to go….
Chipotle always for the win!
Mmmmmm!
And that is my marvelous weekend all wrapped up! I am grateful we had such an awesome weekend and just grateful for each day I am given!
